frequently asked questions

dO YOU HAVE A MUSEUM?
No, but there are mini-museums or displays in several locations downtown. Lake City Historical Society maintains exhibit cases located in the historic hall (ballroom) on the second floor of City Hall. It is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless there is a meeting or an election underway. There is a mini-museum about clamming on the first floor of the Lake Pepin Pearl Button Company shop. An exhibit focused on boating and waterskiing is in the administration building of the Lake City Marina.
