Acquisitions
A serving tray commemorating the 50th anniversary in 1913 of the H.A. Young & Co. store was donated by Marj Hanson. Rebuilt after the 1882 fire that destroyed many downtown buildings, Young's had a full line of men's and women's clothing, a rug and linoleum department, and a lower level grocery. The Young building was destroyed by a 1974 fire.
A cup, Saucer and plate from the Silver Sale Cafe in Lake City was donated by Iris and Harold Bremer. The Cafe site is occupied today by Goihl Chiropractic at 105 S Lakeshore Drive.
